STEM Showcase 2026 returns as one of Penang’s premier science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) events, bringing together students, educators, industry leaders, innovators and the wider community to explore the exciting possibilities of STEM.
With a special focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and future technologies, the event will showcase advancements in AI, robotics, automation, digital innovation and emerging STEM career pathways. Visitors can participate in interactive exhibitions, hands-on activities, STEM workshops and exciting competitions, including the AI Video Challenge, AI Poster Design Challenge, Student in Technology Challenge (SiTC), AI Robotic Challenge and Drone Competition.
STEM Showcase 2026 is expected to attract approximately 20,000 participants and deliver 78 STEM workshop sessions, engaging more than 3,000 students in meaningful hands-on learning experiences. The event serves as a platform to inspire curiosity, foster innovation and strengthen connections between education, industry and the community.
The programme is proudly supported by Micron Malaysia as the Main Sponsor, together with strategic industry partners including Exabytes Malaysia, Motorola Solutions Malaysia, MR D.I.Y. and Cytron Technologies Malaysia.
