In celebration of Tech Dome Penang’s 10th Anniversary, we are opening our doors to the community with 10,000 FREE admission tickets over 10 exciting days from 9 to 18 July 2026.

This special initiative is exclusively available for Penang IC holders as a gesture of appreciation for the continuous support from the people of Penang throughout the past decade.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore interactive STEM exhibits, hands on learning experiences and exciting technology themed activities at Tech Dome Penang.

Community Outreach Programme

As part of our 10th Anniversary celebration, Tech Dome Penang is launching a special Community Outreach Programme aimed at bringing meaningful STEM learning experiences directly to selected underprivileged schools across Penang.

Through this initiative, Tech Dome Penang will conduct engaging STEM activities, interactive workshops and hands on exposure to emerging technologies to inspire students and ignite curiosity in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Selected schools will have the opportunity to experience:

  • Interactive STEM activities.
  • Hands on technology demonstrations.
  • Exposure to emerging technologies.
  • Innovation and creativity based learning experiences.
Schools interested in participating are invited to submit an application for consideration.

Together, let us inspire the next generation of innovators and future problem solvers.

Tech Dome STEM Excellence Awards

The Tech Dome STEM Excellence Awards recognises outstanding achievements and contributions in STEM education among schools, students and educators across Penang.

Organised in conjunction with Tech Dome Penang’s 10th Anniversary celebration, the awards aim to honour inspiring individuals and institutions that have demonstrated excellence, innovation and impact in STEM related education and initiatives.

Through an online application and evaluation process, the following recognitions will be awarded:
  • 10 Best School STEM Achievements
  • 10 Outstanding STEM Teachers
The awards also aim to highlight real success stories shaped by STEM and celebrate the passion, dedication and creativity of educators and students who continue to inspire future generations.

Applications are now open to schools and educators across Penang.

FUTURESCAPE CHALLENGE (1)

futurescape challenge

In conjunction with Tech Dome Penang’s 10th Anniversary Celebration, the FutureScape Exhibit Design Challenge 2026 invites students, educators, innovators and creative thinkers to imagine and design the next interactive STEM exhibit for Tech Dome Penang.

Inspired by the theme “Inspiring the Future Through STEM & AI,” the competition encourages participants to explore bold ideas, emerging technologies and future focused innovation through exhibit design concepts that are engaging, educational and impactful.

Participants will be evaluated based on innovation, visitor engagement, technical clarity, documentation quality and feasibility. Selected concepts may potentially be featured as permanent or semi permanent exhibits at Tech Dome Penang, creating a meaningful opportunity for participants to contribute to the future of STEM learning experiences in Penang.

As part of Tech Dome Penang’s 10 year milestone celebration, the competition aims to inspire creativity, problem solving and innovation while empowering the next generation of STEM and AI driven thinkers.
